6 x 5min frames from my MX-5 CCD camera through my Ostara 80ED refractor. These were taken through a UHCS filter to get rid of the light pollution.
The telescope was mounted on my HEQ5 with a synguider through a Skymax102 for autoguiding.

This picture shows the shadow cast by the moon. Moon shadows on Jupiter look like little dots of ink on Jupiter’s disk. The moon is not visible in the picture because it is no brighter than Jupiter.
